Joniesha, who was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, joined AFSCME in March, 2019, following positions as a Nutrition Assistant at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center (2017-2018), Hostess/Server (2016- 2018), Receptionist at Hilton hotels (2015-2016) and Teacher's Assistant (2011-2013). She assists with external and internal organizing.
