Aaron Peardon

Aaron joined AFSCME District Council 36 in June of 2025 after 20 years of supporting public employees in Orange County as a Senior Labor Representative. Aaron's experience includes representing sworn and non-sworn employees including the Orange County Sheriff's Department and Orange County Fire Authority. He also has represented Court employees, Water Districts and a variety of cities and special districts. Aaron has been chief negotiator for contracts, represented employees in investigations and arbitrations.

Aaron prides himself in coming from a working-class family. He has been doing janitorial work cleaning offices with his family since he was 10 and still does so twice a week. He also started his professional career as a public employee, working for the Orange County Superior Court before becoming a union steward and eventual union staff member. He is excited to continue that work for AFSCME District Council 36.
