On Tuesday, 31,000 healthcare workers of UNAC/UHCP launched their 5-day strike against Kaiser Permanente. In solidarity, AFSCME District Council 36 joined UNAC/UHCP on the picket line in front of the Kaiser Downey Medical Center.

Despite having $66 billion in reserves, Kaiser has not agreed to a contract that delivers on the core priorities of the UNAC/UHCP members who make Kaiser work every day. These frontline workers are fighting for safe staffing, fair pay, and retirement security.

We invite you to stand in solidarity with our union siblings at UNAC/UHCP by visiting a picket line near you.
