Council 36 Political Kickoff | August 29, 2026

It’s election season again and it’s time to get out the vote! We must elect candidates that are labor friendly and will fight for us locally, at the state level, and at the U.S. Capitol.

On Saturday, August 29, AFSCME District Council 36 held its political season kickoff to mobilize members to help GOTV by phone banking and canvassing. Members heard from Council 36 endorsed candidates such as John Erickson and Mark Pulido. Attendees also learned about the important races happening in different districts and how they can help get out the vote.  

It’s going to take all of us to make sure that the people we put in office actually stand with working families. You can help by canvassing, phone banking, and of course, voting on November 3rd.
