UNAC/UHCP members begin indefinite strike

AFSCME District Council 36 attended UNAC/UHCP's Unity Gathering in Pasadena, CA on Saturday to call attention to Kaiser's unsafe staffing and refusal to negotiate a fair contract. Today, 31,000 frontline health care professionals at Kaiser, represented by UNAC/UHCP, are starting an indefinite strike at more than two dozen hospitals and clinics across California and Hawaii.
